I wanted to write to inform you of our impressions of your facility and your care for our employees. I’m happy to say that we are very impressed! Every since you opened and we started sending our employees over for injury care, DOT physicals and random and pre-employment drug tests, we’ve been nothing but impressed. Our employees regularly report back how quick and efficient their visit was, how friendly the staff was, and more importantly, how much they like you, the doctors. Time after time we receive reports back on how easy you are to talk to, how as a patient, they feel like a person, not a number and how, though quick, your services never seem rushed – We’ve used several clinics in the area over the years and have NEVER heard compliments come back, especially voluntary comments! (Meaning I’m not really going around asking every employee what they thought, but more often, they just come back to me to tell me how impressed they were!)
We are very happy with our decision to put the care of our employees into your hands. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to efficient quality care. And we look forward to continuing our relationship with your facility indefinitely.

Dear Dr. Mike,
I am writing just to tell you how much I appreciate all the help you have given me. You didn’t just help me you gave me back my life. Since 1998 after I was involved in the car accident I have been fighting chronic pain in my leg and my hip and after I started having problems with my back that was the final straw I had to do something. I am very lucky I have a doctor like you. I think a lot of doctors could learn a lesson from you, not just bedside manner, but patient relationship. You and Dave and your staff have been nothing but courteous to me. Before I ever met you, I found out a lot of doctors are quick to judge and label people, but you are the only doctor that has not done that t me which has happened to me in the past. And I apologize for any inconvenience that I have caused, if any. Once again thank you for the referral to the pain management doctor and thanks for listening and furthermore thanks for letting me return to a pain free life. |

To Whom It May Concern:
We had had the pleasure of working with Comprehensive Care for the last eighteen (18) months.
At first it was difficult deciding who would best serve our Worker’s Compensation medical needs. After all, team members are the backbone of any organization. When looking for a medical provider, I want one I would feel comfortable with if the need ever arose. Fortunately, after viewing several medical facilities, we feel we found the best medical provider. When you hear comprehensive , you think of all inclusive. Truly, they are just that!
They get right to the point, when doing the initial exam; Is it work related or not? If not, I know immediately, by telephone, why. And if it is work related I know before the team member leaves their office a diagnosis, treatment, restrictions, if any, and approximately how long they will be treating. If they miss an appointment I know immediately. In short, great communication and service, and they call it as they see it and isn’t that, as employers, what we really need and appreciate.
They have reduced our cost approximately 20 percent. Instead of making the first stop the emergency room, it is now Comprehensive Care, which reduces cost compared to emergency room visits.
They take time with each patient and make the best decisions for employees. Yes, we may pay the bill but, they know the patient is most important when it comes to medical treatment.
In fact, we are so comfortable with Dr. Foreit and Dr. Messana, we allow them to do our pre-hire drug testing and post offer employment testing.
Comprehensive Care also is part of our annual health and benefits fair. They volunteer to spend time on property showing team members good training exercises or just responding to general questions on health.
All in all, we feel they deserve the highest recommendation for their services. In fact, last week three (3) employees stopped in or called to thank me for using heir services. One told me she found her visit to be enjoyable. They were very informative, not only quick but also professional and give her other tips concerning her health in general. She also inquired if there was any way they could be her personal physicians. That’s a high recommendation for them and their clinic.

Everyone at Comprehensive Care is extremely knowledgeable regarding occupational medicine and general health care. I know that if I have any questions regarding physicals, drug screens, or work related injuries all I have to do is call Comprehensive Care.
Our drivers are amazed by the short wait times when they come in for physicals or drug screens. Clinics that we used in the past had extremely long wait times. A lot of time I will call Comprehensive Care ahead of time and see how long the wait time is and I always get an honest answer. If it looks busy I will wait a while before I send the driver in.
I am glad that our relationship with Comprehensive Care is such a strong trusting one. I would not send our employees anywhere else. |

Dear Sirs,
After being treated at Comprehensive Care in Gary, Indiana for a poison spider bite, I felt it necessary to write this letter commending your medical staff.
I spent 20 years of my professional career in the medical field, with 12 of those years as President/CEO of a large multi-state billing company. I have worked with literally hundreds of physicians in every specialty you could name. In these days of corporate medicine, of “assembly line, herd ‘em in and move ‘em out” care, it is both heartening and refreshing to find such a caring, competent staff.
I have a tough case history, with lots of conflicting therapies to keep in mind, and both physicians have done an exemplary job of treating my bite, without creating an imbalance in my historical treatments.
Their level of thoroughness and professional knowledge is only overshadowed by their caring and attentive bedside manner. When the physician who initially saw me was unable to follow up with me the next day, he took the time to call his partner that evening and bring him up to speed on my case. This level of caring is not often seen by a single physician in these times, let alone to be found in both partners of a medical practice.
And it doesn’t end with the physicians. From the front office staff to the nurses and assistants, I was made to feel at home from the minute they saw me. I happened to be here while on the road for work, and am over 600 miles from my home. But the entire staff at Comprehensive Care have made me feel “at home” here.
Too often you only hear the bad stuff, people only speak out when they find something wrong with your company or your staff. I feel it is important that you also hear when you have done something right, and wanted you to know this.
Congratulations on building a quality team! You have restored my faith in a field I have seen a lot of negative in, and I hope you continue to provide the same quality caring services to all who walk through your doors.

There are several important criteria to be considered when choosing a clinic. Facility location, hours of operation, experience of physicians and medical staff, on-site testing equipment and physical therapy, knowledge of job hardening and pain management and also solid working knowledge of OSHA Incident Recording and our return-to-work philosophy to name the major issues.
But all of the items listed above do not alone make a good working relationship – a good working relationship takes good people who trust in each other’s ability to act in the best interest of the employee, but not at the expense of the employer. We have that relationship with comprehensive Care. Your doctors and medical staff have consistently met every requirement we have as an employer. The personal touch has its place in a business atmosphere – the phone call from one of your doctors when an injured employee needs the attention of a specialist, or when you don’t think the employee is being honest about his level of pain, range of movement, etc. Follow-up paperwork and work status provided immediately is a great aid in claims management and the return-to-work process.
This has been my experience with Comprehensive Care, and for this I wish to thank Dr. Messana and Foreit as well as the very personable and effective medical staff. I look forward to our continued enjoyable and beneficial association with your health care center. |
