At Comprehensive Care we are always striving to improve our services and technology.
Here are a few of out industry leading services and technologies:
TRAUMATIC INJURIES:
Traumatic injuries are evaluated in our state of the art acute care trauma room where all but life or limb threatening injuries are treated on site. Comprehensive Care makes it a policy to stay on top of the latest treatment techniques, technologies, and equipment. Please visit our Injury Management page to learn more about our capabilities or contact us.
TRAUMATIC EYE INJURIES:
Comprehensive Care has a special room with equipment decicated to treating eye injuries. Traumatic eye injuries need to be treated effectively and definitively from the very first moment. Unlike most emergency rooms Comprehensive Care has a specialized microscope called a Slit-Lamp to help us in the evaluation and treatment of traumatic eye injuries. The slit-lamp examination looks at the structures that are at the front of the eye (the anterior segment or “chamber”): The EYELID, the SCLERA (white outer structure), the CONJUNCTIVA (membranes lining the eyelid and sclera surface), the IRIS (colored part of the eye), the NATURAL CRYSTALINE LENS, and the CORNEA (thin transparent membrane that covers the iris and the lens).

NERVE CONDUCTION STUDIES:
Nerve conduction studies are the “gold standard” diagnostic tool for the assessment of neuropathies, such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Neurodiagnostic testing is also useful in the evaluation of back pain or sciatica, helping to determine the presence of nerve root involvement in cases of lumbosacral radiculopathy and lumbar spinal stenosis.
We are proud to be using a revolutionary non-invasive in office neurodiagnostic testing device called NC-stat. It assists in our diagnosis and is a great screening tool for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Learn how you can use this technology to include Carpal Tunnel Screening as part of your Pre-Placement/Post-Offer exam.
NON-SURGICAL BACK TREATMENT:
Spinal Disc Decompression is a unique, painless non-surgical procedure developed for the treatment of chronic low back pain and sciatica. More that just relieving the symptoms, it CORRECTS the problem.
Decompression of the discs allows the herniated material to be drawn back into its normal position, relieving pressure on the nerve roots and allowing for re-hydration and repair of the disc structure.
